QUALITY & TRACEABILITY

Clarity before commitment.

Electronic component sourcing requires more than matching a part number. Peachlot can provide or request the following information when available, based on the proposed supplier and specific lot.

Tell us your mandatory quality requirements in your RFQ so they can be addressed in the quotation.

01 /

Manufacturer traceability

Request available source and chain-of-supply documentation. The extent of traceability depends on the supplier and lot.

02 /

Certificate of Conformance

Request an available CoC and confirm its issuer and scope. A supplier CoC is not a manufacturer-issued certificate.

03 /

Date code verification

Request label information, photographs, or supporting records to confirm the date codes offered for a specific lot.

04 /

Packaging verification

Clarify reel, tray, tube, cut-tape, or other packaging requirements and request available packaging evidence.

05 /

Visual inspection

Discuss available visual inspection information or request inspection arrangements. Scope, provider, cost, and timing must be agreed before ordering.

06 /

Counterfeit-risk mitigation

Discuss sourcing history, inconsistencies, documentation gaps, and any additional verification needed. No single check eliminates counterfeit risk.

07 /

Supplier verification

Request available business identity, supply information, and references to support review of a proposed supplier.
